This Season Score a Snack Touchdown

Football season is upon us, and for many that means game day snacks, watch parties and trash talking our least favorite teams. For those struggling with fitness, or even for those undergoing treatments, being mindful of what you eat doesn’t have to take up your life. While we understand that eating right to some means missing out on delicious meals, taking time to make those healthier substitutions or add a little healthier options to your spread only benefits you in the long run. For those of us who have been diagnosed with cancer, these times with friends and family offer a little normalcy after receiving the news as well as an improved quality of life.

It’s important to think about your health and nutrition at all times, especially during such a snack driven season. Having healthy options can make you feel good about yourself while still giving you time to enjoy the game with your friends and family. Take time off from worrying about the stressful things in life and focus on the important ones.

With phenomenal doctors like the ones at University Cancer Centers and preventative measures to ensure your body is on the right track when it comes to health and wellness you can relax knowing you’re in great hands. A happy heart is a healthier heart, as studies show those individuals who reach for healthier options as opposed to fried and fatty foods feel much better about themselves.

Gorging yourself doesn’t do anyone a bit of good, and makes you feel sluggish and unhealthy. There are plenty of ways to introduce your favorite game day snacks to a crowd with a healthy twist. Most of your guests won’t be able to tell the difference, and eating something delicious and healthy is how everybody wins.

This season, stay away from the fried fatty food and try something a little different. We guarantee that you’ll be a hit at any party with these crispy shrimp sensations. They are a light, yet flavorful snack that packs a big punch. Grab a bowl and your remote and get ready to win.
