Now that you and your doctors have mapped out a treatment course, do you know about the overlooked fees of cancer treatments or how you will get to each treatment? Normally when cancer treatments are mentioned our thoughts go directly to the medical bills, but what about the parking fees or the gasoline expense that you will need to pay for each office visit?

 

These are small fees that will now become part of your monthly budget that you might not be able to afford. Not to worry, we are here to assist you with your newly incurred transportation costs. We will help you cover costs such as tolls and taxi, bus or train fares. Some public transportation companies offer discounted program or a voucher for patients, and we will help you get into those programs.

 

We also understand that getting to and from your different doctor appointments and treatments can sometimes be exhausting and challenging. There might be times when you might not be able to find a family member or friend to accompany you to an appointment. And again, we are here to assist you with this dilemma too.

 

We have a network of faith-based affiliates in place that have agreed to donate their time and services to provide you with transportation to your treatments. We can also get you on a vanpool service that some of our other affiliates provide to cover your transportation needs. In the circumstance that you might need air transport to a treatment center, we have programs to help you there as well.

 

These are all unexpected costs that are brought on unexpectedly with your diagnosis and we understand it can be very overwhelming. We are here to assist in getting you the financial help you need so you don’t become overburdened.
